Specialising in Motown, Soul, and through the seventies disco and funk beats, the old classic old time rock n roll favourites to some modern classics, there will literally be something for everyone! Each member of Vintage Vibes provides an individual forte, and a wealth of years and experience in live music performance.
Biography:
Aoife out front with powerful and soulful Female Lead Vocals. Lenny along side with solid Rhythm Guitar and Smooth Male Co-Lead Vocals. Farid on Lead Guitar with intricate riffs and funky melodies. Chris brings a full sound with his Bass Guitar lines and Backing Vocals. Richie providing that big sound to fill the vibe on Saxophone Darrin keeps it all together with intricate and talented Drum Beats.
Varying backgrounds of musical training and performance in several different styles, such as Rock to Jazz, Gospel and Soul are evident within the band. Each musician excels in their own preferred genre. On their own, each individual musician can hold their own amongst the top performers in the country. Combine these power houses into a Full Six Piece Band set up, and something magical happens!
The friendship and chemistry amongst the band is clear to see. They aren’t just there to ‘go through the motions’ and get paid. They thoroughly enjoy every minute of what they do. With experience ranging from live performances in The Olympia, Vicar Street, RTE and the Tivoli theatre, and headlining the mainstage at the Dublin Gay Pride festival, to a wealth of backgrounds playing extensively in Ireland, the UK, Jordan and across Europe, the members of the band all bring a professional collective of top class musical history.

Vintage Vibes Band provides all of their own professional sound equipment. They will roll in as soon as the stage and dance area are ready. This will take approximately 30-40 minutes, giving you plenty of time to mingle with your guests , freshen up and get ready to PARTY ‘Vintage Vibes’ will play for approximately 2-2.5 hours, with the option of taking a break to coincide with your party needs.
DJ Service: In addition to the band, we can provide a DJ service that starts the moment the band finishes up and will keep your party going to the wee hours . Our DJ will personally contact you for music choices and provides party games to keep your guests entertained. Just let us know in advance if you wish for us to organise this for you. **We know how important sound levels are, and we always endeavour to keep the overall sound comfortable for everyone.**
